SEN Teaching Assistant


We are seeking one dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing tailored support for a pupil with additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey while working closely with our experienced staff. The current vacancy is based at Canford Heath Infant School.

17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

08:30 am – 12 Noon

Grade D (Points 5 6), £25,584 to £25,989 per annum pro-rata

(Actual salary £10,048.42 - £10,207.49)

Fixed Term – This role is linked to SEN funding and will continue for as long as the pupil requires additional support.

The TEACH Poole Multi Academy Trust was formed in April 2015. All four of our wonderful schools are graded as good or outstanding schools by Ofsted. We are extremely popular, over-subscribed, forward-thinking schools with supportive staff and fantastic children.

The successful candidates will be employed by the Trust as a whole and as such, can be expected to carry out their duties at any of the four schools.

You'll work closely with our Head of Inclusion and SEND and teaching staff to implement pupils’ Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and provide one-on-one or small-group support to help them achieve their full potential.
