Halley House School is a small, inclusive and diverse London primary academy, with the children at the heart of everything we do. We have a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated staff team who ensure that learning is adapted to children’s individual needs. Halley sits right at the very heart of our local community, here in Shacklewell in Dalston, East London. We have excellent transport links, with three train stations within easy walking distance of the school (Hackney Downs, Dalston Junction, Dalston Kingsland). We are also very well connected by bus and cycle routes.

Halley is a proud part of the Bellevue Place Education Trust (BPET), a family of high-performing primary schools across London and Berkshire. We have a clear vision to deliver the highest standards of education, blended from the best of the state and independent sectors. We strive for all children to Learn, Enjoy, Succeed.

We are looking for someone who:

  • - Is a good communicator and a good team player
  • - Is excited by their role and inspired by working with young people from all different backgrounds
  • - Works within the positive and caring ethos of our school, modelling our values as well as BPET's
  • - Knows that working in a school can be demanding, but also hugely rewarding
  • - Displays relentless passion and enthusiasm for striving for the very best, and has a keen eye for detail, good capacity for planning and pre-empting potential obstacles
  • - Is able to support the rest of the team for a smooth running of operations
  • - Is willing to learn and progress in their knowledge and career
  • - Has strong organisational and administrative skills
  • - Works well under pressure and is resilient
  • - Wants to make a real mark and have an impact on children's lives.

School tours are strongly encouraged.

We would be delighted if you would join us in delivering our exciting vision for the benefit of the pupils we serve.
