Greenacre School is a complex needs special school. We provide high quality education and support for children and young adults (ages 3-19) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). All of our pupils at Greenacre need extra support with either communication and social interaction, learning and understanding, or their physical and sensory development.
We are launching our Talent Pool to match committed, reliable, and empathetic people to impactful roles as they arise. By joining our talent pool, you will be notified of upcoming opportunities that match your potential.
We offer various contracts to suit your needs, including permanent, full time, part time, and casual contracts.
Teaching Assistant Grade 1: Provide essential day to day classroom support, helping pupils stay engaged, safe, and positive.
Teaching Assistant Grade 2: Take on a more active role in supporting learning pathways to help pupils overcome barriers to education.
Teaching Assistant Grade 4: Provide advanced classroom support, helping to guide interventions and manage progress for complex needs.
We would also love to hear from people interested in joining our catering, cleaning and estates team.
Looking for a meaningful reset? These roles are the perfect launchpad for those looking for a fresh start and future educators wanting to build real world experience in a complex needs setting.
If you're passionate about gaining specialised experience in communication, sensory development, and holistic child support, this is the place to start. These roles open up a massive range of opportunities within special education.
Best of all, we value work life balance, meaning you get to make a massive impact during the day and completely unplug when you clock out.
Skills can be taught, but passion can't. If you bring clear communication skills, a warm and friendly personality, and the ability to remain calm under pressure when a child is in crisis, you’ll fit right in!
When you register for our support staff talent pool, you aren't just joining a waiting list, you are positioning yourself at the front of the line for a rewarding career. When a suitable vacancy opens, our talent pool is our first port of call and our recruitment team will be in touch. We will keep you up to date with the latest news and activities within our school on a regular basis.
