Springwell Learning Community is the umbrella name for Springwell Special Academy and Springwell Alternative Academy. Springwell Special Academy provides cross-phase education for Barnsley children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties SEMH.

THE ROLE As a Business Support Officer you will be a part of an amazing team. You need to be a good communicator, have administration experience, strong IT skills and the ability to be flexible and proactive across our large special school. This role covers a diverse range of tasks and will suit someone who enjoys variety in a busy demanding environment.
Working as an integral part of the Business Support Team.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school(s)
Process and update data on the schools systems
Produce documents and reports to a high standard
Liaise with a variety of stakeholders
Being present in reception as first point of contact
THE CANDIDATE
Proven experience in a similar role - receptionist, administrator or business support
Experience or interest in working with children/ young people with additional needs
Ability to relate to children and younger people to build positive relationships
Educated with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
SALARY/ HOURS Starting salary for this Business Support Worker role is £9,289 actual annual salary (£26,403 FTE) working 15 hours per week Thursday and Friday term time only + 2 inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust
