THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Grade 4 to join our Barnsley special school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and younger people for those with special education and behavioural needs, and will assist in providing educational support.

Responsibilities:
- As a grade 4 TA implementing and leading lesson plans and activities
- Assist students with alternative learning
- Provide one-on-one help to students who require additional support
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Updating, maintaining and monitoring pupil plans

Requirements:
- Experience working with children or younger people ideally those with special education needs (SEMH/ SEN/ SEND)
- Ability to educate and engage students effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Educated with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

SALARY/ HOURS
