Leiston is a 420 place school with a busy nursery. Currently judged by Ofsted as ‘Good’. We offer our children a wide range of opportunities. We uphold a safeguarding ethos at the very heart of what we do and it forms our decisions on a day by day basis with the child’s voice being a key part of this. Our ideal candidate will work with the school to ensure that the supervision of children during lunchtimes is positive and effective.

 We are looking for a candidate who:

  • ·       is vigilant about safeguarding and is able to  work collaboratively with pupils and colleagues
  • ·       is a positive and welcoming presence in the school and works effectively with all stakeholders
  • ·       has proven experience in working with children
  • ·       understands the importance of shared culture within a school and knows how to promote this for the benefit of all
  • ·      is able to work well as part of the team
  • ·      has high expectations in all areas of school life
