Teacher of Geography / Personal Development (PD)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and passionate full-time Teacher of Geography & PD to join the team at Hampton College on a permanent basis, from September 2026. This is a full-time position, however part time applications may also be considered.
This role is ideal for either an experienced teacher seeking a new opportunity to further develop or an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive environment.

About the Department
In
Geography all students are taught in mixed-ability groups. At Key Stage 4 we
follow the AQA exam specification and at Key
Stage 5, we teach to the EdExcel specification.
Educational visits and fieldwork have been an important part of the work of the department. At Key Stage 3 we conduct local field work. At Key Stage 4 we spend one day in Hunstanton for our costal fieldwork and a day in Leicester for our human fieldwork. At Key Stage 5, we spend 3 days along the coast of North Norfolk and 1 day in London.

Hampton College is an established all-through school (ages 4-19) located in Hampton Vale, Peterborough. It sits within Hampton Academies Trust (HAT) and works closely with neighbouring schools such as Hampton Gardens and Hampton Lakes.
Opened in 2005, the school has grown to serve over 1,620 students across both primary and secondary phases, including a thriving Sixth Form.
