About Hampton College
Welcome to Hampton College
Hampton College is a thriving, inclusive ‘all-through’ school located in Peterborough, serving over 1,620 students aged 5 to 18, from the communities of Hampton, Yaxley and surrounding villages. The College operates across two sites, which are within easy walking distance of each other and fosters a strong sense of unity and continuity.
Hampton College Secondary Phase opened its doors in 2005 to our first cohort of Year 7 students and has grown steadily each year since then. In 2012 Hampton College Primary Phase opened to one reception class and in 2013 they moved into their new primary school located next to the secondary phase. On 1 September 2014, Hampton College converted to an academy and the school is now managed by our own educational trust, Hampton Academies Trust.
At the Secondary Phase, our motto is ‘Progress, Partnership and Pride’. Our ethos is rooted in three key principles, which are:-

We work hard to ensure that students receive excellent teaching, and the curriculum is relevant to their needs. Students will receive all the support they need to fulfil their potential and we believe in the importance of extra-curricular activities.
Partnership
The College aims to develop strong positive relationships within school and amongst the community. We work hard to establish a partnership with parents/carers, and to ensure that they feel welcome at the College, and fully involved in their child’s education.
Pride
We expect the highest standards at all times. Students can be proud of their own achievements and wear the Hampton College uniform with pride.
At the Primary Phase we have embedded these values into school through our PROUD aspirations and these form the foundation of our approach to school life.
