We are looking to support a graduate through a salaried Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship (PGTA) route, offering the opportunity to earn while you learn. The successful candidate will split their time between a combination of classroom teaching alongside experienced staff, with the support of an identified mentor and at least 20% off-timetable training with a recognised provider, as you work towards gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in teaching, in a supportive environment, within a Trust that values its staff.  Our friendly and experienced department will provide mentoring and guidance throughout your learning journey.  

All candidates will need to meet the criteria of the apprenticeship scheme and this will be determined by the training provider.   Your contract will be fixed term for the duration of the apprenticeship and subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you are then free to apply for any suitable vacancies within our Trust.  The successful candidate will posses a passion for their subject and the ability to engage and enthuse students.  Please note that applicants do not require prior teaching experience for this role.
