We are seeking an inspirational, ambitious and talented Class Teacher to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team at Water Lane Primary Academy. This role is central to the success of our school and has a direct impact on the exceptional learning experiences we provide for the children.
As a Class Teacher, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day teaching and learning of all children in your class, including those with Special Educational Needs, English as an Additional Language, more able learners and those eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant. You will be supported through high quality coaching and mentoring from experienced leaders, ensuring you can thrive in every aspect of your role.
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
At Water Lane Primary Academy, we are proud of our high expectations for academic achievement, behaviour and personal development. Our broad, diverse and engaging creative curriculum underpins everything we do, ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We are an inclusive school where all children are valued, respected and supported as individuals. We do not label children or group them by perceived ability; instead, we provide equal opportunities for all children to challenge themselves, take ownership of their learning and develop a strong Growth Mindset. Water Lane Primary Academy is an exciting place to be for children, staff, families and the wider community.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about securing the very best outcomes for children and committed to giving every child the opportunity to succeed, whatever their starting point or barriers.
You will bring:
A relentless drive to achieve excellence for the children in your care
Excellent interpersonal skills
A track record of effective, good or outstanding classroom practice
Strong communication skills and a positive, warm sense of humour
Good organisational skills
Creativity that inspires and enhances teaching and learning
Whatever your teaching background, we would love to hear from you.
