On behalf of the staff and governors of Water Lane Primary Academy, I warmly welcome you to our school website.
I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Water Lane Primary Academy, working in partnership with Reach2. It is a school with huge potential and we are all dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment, where everyone feels valued and respected.
At Water Lane, we believe that there is no limit to what we can all achieve; we strongly believe in providing children with exciting and meaningful learning experiences by providing an engaging curriculum which encourages our pupils to be independent and resilient in their learning.
We want our children not just to achieve, but to exceed expectations and attain the very best results they can. Here at Water Lane, we believe it is crucial to involve the children, their families and the wider community as partners in education. Children learn best when there are strong links between home and school and so we strongly encourage families to work in partnership with us to successfully help each child to achieve their full potential in order to ensure success.
We are dedicated to building a whole school community which thrives on mutual respect and which values positive relationships. We offer a safe, nurturing and creative learning environment, enabling us to ensure our children are supported, challenged, inspired and motivated through a breadth of learning experiences and opportunities.
We are delighted to be part of the REAch2 Academy Trust. REAch2 is a family of 61 primary academies across the country who collaborate and share excellent practice in order to provide the very best education for all pupils. REAch2 work collaboratively to offer a richness of experience that gives real colour throughout the time our children spend with us. This is exemplified through our innovative commitment to 11 before 11, which includes a range of experiences that are designed to inspire and stretch REAch2 children, including: sleeping under the stars, crossing a border, riding a large animal, performing a flash mob and completing 10 good deeds.
Visits to our school are encouraged and welcomed - we would be delighted to show you around.
