Fixed Term

1-to-1 SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant

 Point 5 FTE £25,583 per year, approx. £21,486 Pro-rata)

Working 32.5 hours, 39 weeks per year

Commencing: September 2026


The Norman Church of England Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed 1-to-1 SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals. We would love you to take your place with us in this fantastic role!


About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

·       Have experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant

·       Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

·       Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

·       Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

·       Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

·       Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

·       Be able to work flexibly and professionally


About Role

We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.  The purpose of this role is to provide 1-to-1 support to SEN pupils in the classroom.
