Hillside is seeking a compassionate and proactive Pupil Wellbeing Officer to support the social, emotional, and personal development of our students. You will play a pivotal role in promoting mental health and wellbeing, resolving relationship issues, and ensuring every pupil feels heard, valued, and supported. Job Title: Pupil Wellbeing Officer

Location: Hillside Primary School

Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (38 term-time weeks + 5 professional development days)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

    • 4 days: 8:00am – 4:00pm
    • 1 day: 8:00am – 3:30pm 
  • (Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
  • Salary: ALG Grade G Points 20-24 £26,564.62-£29,486.37 Annually, Actual


    Summary of Key Responsibilities

    • Provide guidance and support to pupils to promote their social care, personal development, and wellbeing.
    • Assist pupils in addressing worries, problems, and mental health concerns.
    • Encourage a culture of listening to pupils’ views and implement measures to safeguard their welfare.
