About This Role
As Faculty Lead for Maths, you will drive an ambitious and
engaging curriculum that develops learners’ skills in numerical fluency,
reasoning and problem-solving. You will
lead a dedicated team, ensuring learners receive a high-quality education that
prepares them for both academic and vocational success.
You
will be responsible for strategic curriculum leadership, outcomes, staff
development and the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning within the
Maths Faculty. You will play a key role in shaping a curriculum that reflects
our Catholic ethos, promoting curiosity, resilience and a sense of purpose.
You’ll oversee Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, from
guiding Year 7s through their first algebraic expressions to helping Year 11
master their trigonometric ratios. Our
curriculum model ensures that every learner is challenged and supported
to reach their full potential. You will use assessment, data and evaluation to
drive sustained improvement in learner outcomes.
