We are looking for a key member of staff to join our excellent Early Years team, working with individual children and groups.

You need to be enthusiastic, resourceful, flexible and reliable, with experience of working in an Early Years Setting.

About the role

The successful candidate will be expected to work with and support individual pupils with Educational Health Care Plans or groups of children on specific activities. Key aspects of the role are:

•To develop an understanding of the specific needs of pupils to be supported.
•To have an awareness of vulnerable groups of children including those pupils eligible for pupil premium funding.
•To aid pupils’ to learn as effectively as possible in both group situations and individually.
•To aid children in developing independent leaning skills
•To guide and assist the development of children’s social behaviour, attitudes, self-esteem and skills.
•To assist class teachers and Inclusion Co-ordinator to develop, lead and evaluate suitable programmes of support to meet the individual needs of pupils.

About you

The successful candidate needs to be organised and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high expectations and an inclusive environment for all children including those with barriers to learning. Experience of working in an early years environment is essential.
