About this Role

Teaching Assistant - Level 3

Full Time (32.5 hrs per week) to start from 1st September 2024

1 x Permanent (initially based in KS1)

1 X Permanent (initially based in KS2)

Salary: Level 3 Pro rata of points 12 – 17 £26,421 - £28,770 (Actual Salary £20,463 - £22,282) for 32.5 hrs - pay award pending

The role will require working under the guidance/instruction of designated teaching/senior staff, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/ small groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Staff may also supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term, unplanned absence of teachers. The primary focus will be to support teaching and learning within the school.
