We wish to appoint an inspirational, forward thinking individual who prides themselves in working collaboratively, supporting parents and their children in building foundations for happy and successful life-long learners.  The ideal candidate will have worked with supporting families in need of support. This Pastoral Assistant position will involve making close links with pupils, parents, and outside agencies in order to ensure all pupils are given the best opportunity to achieve their maximum potential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience of working with vulnerable families and offering quality support
  • knowledge of how to support pupils to access education
  • knowledge of where to signpost families and pupils to gain relevant support that will impact directly on the pupils’ academic progress
  • have empathy and understanding with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
  • experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
  • experience of collating relevant data and writing high quality reports to line managers measuring the impact of interventions undertaken
  • great communication skills
  • a positive role model who cares about the well-being of pupils

In return we will offer:

  • Happy and responsive children who are eager to learn
  • Supportive parents
  • A supportive leadership team and Multi Academy Trust
  • Dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic staff
  • A friendly and nurturing environment with strong Christian links

Informal visits to the school are encouraged. Please contact Mr. Rahman/Miss. Begum to arrange an appointment.
