About this Role

To help us to live out our mission, we are seeking to appoint an excellent Second in Mathematics who will help to lead and manage a thriving department of specialist and highly experienced practitioners. The existing department includes an exceptionally experienced Head of Department and three Heads of Year thereby demonstrating our commitment to professional development within the school.

We are seeking to appoint someone who is both an excellent teacher of Mathematics as well as a highly effective Second in Department; someone who can strategically contribute to the Department’s journey in becoming outstanding. The successful candidate will join an already very ambitious department of specialists which currently achieves high standards as a result of exceptional team work and

dedication. The newly appointed Second in Mathematics will need to demonstrate their own passion and enthusiasm for Mathematics at all key stages as well as demonstrate curriculum leadership aptitude and qualities.

The post will involve teaching at KS3 and KS4; A level teaching is also available for a suitably qualified candidate.
