Vacancy for Design Technology / Art Technician 

Salary: Meridian Trust, Grade 3 Point 2-3

Hours of work: 32.50 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time plus 5 days) Flexible working will be considered 

We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a technician for the Design Technology/Art team who shares our core values which are set out clearly in the job description. This post will be a wonderfully rewarding experience for the successful candidate as they will be joining a supportive team which is well resourced and part of our wider Meridian Trust family.

The opportunity

  • A great chance to work with a strong, fun enthusiastic team providing administrative and pastoral support to the house leadership and promote positive behaviour of all students.

The ideal candidate

  • Good educational background with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience of administration background, education and working with young people
  • Able to make positive relationships with children, parents, staff and outside agencies
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative.
  • Knowledge of the need for confidentiality and awareness of child protection issues
  • Flexibility of working hours, committed and reliable with excellent timekeeping
