We seek to appoint a KS2 Class Teacher with excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching and learning who will fully embrace the SS Peter and Paul’s way.
SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary Academy & Nursery is an award-winning school that prides itself on noteworthy and wide ranging achievements driven by pupil initiative. Pupils achieve well at all phases and they enjoy a well developed and appropriately challenging curriculum alongside extra curricular opportunities, resulting in strong attendance, behaviour for learning and excellent curriculum standards.
We welcome applications from teachers who are committed to developing ways to engage pupils in meaningful learning experiences across the curriculum. The appointed candidate will:
Create a safe and supportive teaching and learning environment where engaging and challenging learning takes place
Ensure that all pupils make excellent progress from their starting points
Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our school
Work in partnership with parents, all staff and governors to deliver the best provision for our children.
Our commitment to effective safeguarding means that this post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023 (KCSIE) online searches will be undertaken for prospective shortlisted candidates.
Our teachers are employed under the terms and conditions for Teachers and we continue to be part of the Teachers Pension Agency.
