St Michael’s Catholic Primary Academy and Nursery are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, child-centred and excellent teaching assistant who can be flexible with working across the academy, and is a great team member. The appointed candidate will be experienced in supporting learning in a primary school setting, join our happy and forward-thinking academy and become part of our dedicated team to:

• Work under the direction and guidance of teaching / senior staff in supporting pupils working across the academy, to ensure they make excellent progress.

• Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our academy. 

• Meet pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural needs as well as their pastoral and welfare needs.  This includes working closely with staff, parents and outside agencies where necessary to promote effective safeguarding of all children.

• Develop good relationships with pupils, staff, parents, representatives, directors and primary MAC partners.
