About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality, inclusive and engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning and support pupil development. You will be responsible for teaching a well-sequenced mathematics curriculum aligned with the national curriculum, focusing on fluency in fundamental concepts, mathematical reasoning and problem solving. Through carefully planned lessons and effective use of assessment, you will ensure all pupils are supported, challenged and able to make sustained progress. You will create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel confident to take risks, explore ideas and deepen their understanding across number, algebra, ratio, geometry, probability and statistics.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS) with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent maths education. You should hold a degree in Maths or a related field. You will be well-versed in the GCSE and A-level syllabus and assessment frameworks and demonstrate expertise in mathematical reasoning, modelling and problem solving. An awareness of current educational practices and effective pedagogy in maths teaching is essential, along with a passion for helping pupils thrive and achieve their full potential.

What we offer

We are committed to being a supportive, caring and rewarding place to work and learn, and to being an employer of choice. A full overview of our offer, including staff benefits, our People Plan and what our staff say about working with us, can be found in the supporting documents attached.
