Heron Hall Academy is a secondary school and sixth form, serving students from Year 7 through to Year 13. It is a busy, diverse school where staff work hard to give young people the teaching, guidance and opportunities they need to succeed.
Working in a secondary school and sixth form is demanding, but it is also meaningful work. Students arrive with different strengths, needs and experiences, and good relationships matter. At Heron Hall, staff are expected to set high standards, know their students well and help them build the confidence, habits and ambition they need for the future.

Heron Hall has a broad and active life beyond lessons. Students take part in careers events, clubs, enrichment activities and sixth form opportunities that help them think about who they are becoming, not just what they are learning.
