About the role

We have two Kitchen Assistant position - please indicate on your application which position you would be interested in. The hours and salaries are: 16 hours per week / 39 weeks per year Actual Salary £9,329 - £9,560 20 hours per week / 39 weeks per year Actual Salary £11,662 - £11,951

To assist in the daily operation of the academy kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation, hygiene and service. The Kitchen Assistant will support the catering team in providing a safe, clean and efficient kitchen and dining environment for pupils and staff. Contributing to maintaining a positive and professional working environment in the kitchen is a key element of the role.

We are seeking someone who works well as part of a team, communicates effectively and brings a positive, can-do attitude to the role. Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is required. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to the smooth running of a busy school kitchen.
