About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver high-quality, inclusive and engaging lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a deep understanding of the scientific world. You will be responsible for teaching a well-sequenced science curriculum aligned with the national curriculum, developing pupils’ knowledge and skills across biology, chemistry and physics. Through carefully planned practical and theoretical lessons, alongside effective use of assessment, you will ensure all pupils are supported, appropriately challenged and able to make sustained progress. You will create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment where pupils feel confident to question, investigate and develop their scientific thinking.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS) with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent science education. You should hold a degree in a science discipline or a related field. You will be well-versed in the GCSE and, where applicable, A-level science specifications and assessment requirements and demonstrate expertise in scientific enquiry, experimental skills and conceptual understanding. An awareness of current educational practices and effective pedagogy in science teaching is essential, along with a passion for enabling pupils to thrive and achieve their full potential.
