Our staff work incredibly hard to provide an ambitious curriculum so that our children receive the best possible education. We are proud of our close links with  St Barnabas School, which is our feeder infant school. Additionally, both schools are led and managed by the same Headteacher and Leadership Team - Our supportive leadership team are highly considerate of staff wellbeing and workload and strive to promote a positive working environment.

We have a rare opportunity to join our school from June, initially on a fixed term basis but with a possibility of this being renewed for an additional year.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has:

  • Previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team.
  • Excellent knowledge of working with children with SEN
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
  • Ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents.
  • Personal commitment to on-going professional development.

In return, we can offer you:

  • A welcoming and caring school, that encourages everyone to give their best at all times, that aims to contribute all they can to our life as a school community
  • A collaborative and supportive school community that is underpinned by the Christian ethos, driven by a shared passion of children’s welfare and education
  • A rewarding and exciting working environment, that inspires and challenges within a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Access to a vast array of employee benefits and recognition systems, via our brand-new partnership with Vivup
