 We are looking for a high-calibre Teacher of Science to join our successful Science Department; a teacher who will enthuse students through the provision of high-quality teaching and learning, encouraging all students to develop their potential to the full. The successful candidate will be a teacher who is passionate about all aspects of Science has an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and a drive to make a difference and maintain our high standards.

Our Science department is hugely important to St Andrew the Apostle School. In 2025 all subjects in GCSE Triple Science had, on average, over 40% of their students achieving 9 – 7 grades. Furthermore, Single Science had very positive Progress 8 outcomes. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are consistently chosen by our students in our small sixth form, where all learners are able to gain the grades they need for the next step in education or career.
