About St Andrew the Apostle School
St Andrew the Apostle School offers an aspirational,
friendly, supportive, and career-enhancing environment for those working in
teaching or school support.
Our school motto is 'Ever to Excel' which is
the English translation of the Ancient Greek phrase 'αἰὲν ἀριστεύειν' (aièn aristeúein) derived
from the sixth book of Homer's Iliad. For our ethos, this means that our
students always give their best and endeavour to be the best version of
themselves, whatever the situation. We develop this through practice -
retrieval practice in the classroom, repeated drills and practice in sports,
music and the arts and continual encouragement of the highest standards of
behaviour, from how pupils wear their uniform to how they talk to teachers and one
another.

Why join our team?
Choosing the right new school to work in is as important to
you as it is to us. We are always looking for exceptional teaching and support
staff to join our dynamic team.
We have a vibrant and diverse student body, and we welcome children from all faiths and none. When they leave our school, our students will know and understand their place in the world, be accepting of others, and have a positive mindset, enabling them to excel in all they do. We embrace diversity and promote equality of opportunity; we welcome applications from all community sections.
Our staff survey indicates that our staff know our values
and ethos, believe students are safe at our school and are proud to be community
members.
Set in the London Borough of Barnet, it benefits from
excellent transport links—train, tube, and bus—to other London boroughs and
Hertfordshire.
We believe St Andrew the Apostle School is a great place to
work!
Benefits and Perks:
The Russell Education Trust supports us, and we benefit from
collaboration with the other five schools in the Trust, all located in the
