About this Role

We are looking for reliable, diligent and enthusiastic people to work as part of our cleaning team.  As part of the team, you will help ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the school premises, ensuring the children and staff can enjoy the learning environments.

The successful applicants must have a general knowledge of cleaning and good communication skills.  Training in the use of equipment will be provided. It is important that our students have the best learning environment and our cleaners provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout our school buildings to meet this need.

We have 2 positions working 15 hours per week.  You will be working 44 weeks per year, term time plus some work during the school holidays. Experience as a cleaner is desirable but not essential.

Ormiston Denes is not just a building filled with teachers and children with lessons taking place. It is a very special community committed to ensuring that every day is better than the one that went before it, and that every individual becomes the best version of themselves. We know that there is no limit to potential and that whilst challenges may come along, everyone can overcome these if given the right support and guidance.  We place high value on staff development, both in teaching, support staff roles.

Our new colleague will also benefit from being part of Ormiston Academies Trust, a MAT of 43 primary and secondary academies.  The Trust’s vision is for all young people to have access to the highest academic, social and practical skills required to achieve their full potential.  OAT support all staff so that they can enhance and develop their professional skills whatever their role within the trust.
