About this Role

We are recruiting at Westbourne Academy

 Head of House

·        We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of House to promote the academy ethos of STAR by leading by example on all aspects of pastoral provision in their respective House.

You will be joining a dynamic and exciting team, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.

The successful candidate will have a commitment for continued professional development and will be a dynamic and forward-thinking individual.  We are seeking an ambitious professional with the ability to create and maintain the culture and ethos of the House in line with the academy’s vision.

We welcome applications from ambitious individuals, who have the drive, passion and vision to lead the House forward by monitoring and improving recognition, behaviour and attendance/punctuality within the House.  The appointed candidate will ideally be a Maths specialist, however all specialisms will be considered.  You will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by our teaching and learning team including Lead Practitioners and a strong SLT.

If you have what it takes, you can join an experienced, innovative team with incredible potential – and look forward to a future that could take you anywhere within the Trust’s Twenty-one schools.
