About this Role
Are you practical, proactive, and ready to kick-start your career in facilities management?
We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Site Team as an Apprentice — a hands-on, two-year opportunity to earn while you learn in a busy school environment.
Working alongside our experienced Site Team, you'll play a vital role in keeping our school safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly. From carrying out basic repairs and health & safety checks, to setting up spaces for events and supporting refurbishment projects, no two days will be the same.
As part of the apprenticeship, you'll attend Telford College one day per week, complete structured training modules, and gain nationally recognised qualifications — all while being mentored by experienced professionals.
What we're looking for:
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in building maintenance and facilities operations
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to doing the job well
What we offer:
- A fully supported 2-year apprenticeship (37 hours per week)
- Practical, on-the-job training with experienced mentors
- A welcoming and purposeful working environment
- The chance to build a rewarding career in facilities management
