We are looking for a Food Technician to join our friendly and dedicated team here at City of Peterborough Academy.
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic Food Technician to support our Food Technology department and help create an inspiring, safe, and well‑resourced learning environment for our pupils.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a practical setting, has a passion for food and nutrition, and thrives in a busy, creative atmosphere.

In this role you will:
Preparing ingredients, equipment, and resources for practical lessons
Supporting teachers during demonstrations and practical sessions
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in food rooms
Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and monitoring budgets
Ensuring equipment is maintained, stored correctly, and ready for use
Assisting with displays, enrichment activities, and departmental organisation
