About City of Peterborough Academy
Our vision and approach is straightforward; we are determined that our students will achieve well and leave us as confident, compassionate and articulate individuals with the skills to support them throughout their lives. Through high standards and expectations in teaching, learning, behaviour and pastoral care we prepare our pupils for entrance to higher education, high quality employment and apprenticeships, and the future careers of their choice.
We continuously foster a caring, supportive and happy environment so that our students will flourish. In terms of behaviour, uniform and academy standards we are very traditional and have high expectations. We expect our community to "REACH for Excellence" and follow our values of Respect and Kindness, Excellence, Ambition, Character and Honesty.
We also believe that education is more than just academic success and aim to develop the whole person with a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum, a wide range of enrichment activities which we encourage all pupils to participate in, as well as a broad variety of academy events throughout the year.
