We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and motivated governor for Harlington and Sundon Lower Schools.
Being a school governor is a hugely rewarding role. It will give you the chance to make a real difference to young people, give something back to your local community, and use and develop your skills in a board-level environment.
We are seeking a governor who could complement the wide-ranging capability of the Board – we are keen to hear from applicants from a variety of backgrounds within the local community. We are particularly interested in candidates with marketing and/or PR experience and skills. The successful volunteer would need to be willing to attend meetings of the board. Governor meetings are held mid-week in the evening and amount to approximately five meetings per year.
As part of the schools’ Safer Recruitment process, appointments are subject to satisfactory interview, online check, references, a declaration of interest to declare any conflicts of interest you may have, and satisfactory completion of an enhanced DBS check.
The Pyramid Schools Trust is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
If you would like to discuss this further, please contact the Clerk to the Governing Board at governorsclerk@harlingtonlower.co.uk or Mrs Victoria Blunt, Headteacher, via the office of either school: office@harlingtonlower.co.uk or office@sundonlower.co.uk
