About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Wellbeing Team. This role focuses on providing family support, promoting the welfare of children (educationally, behaviourally and socially), liaising with external agencies in a supportive and safeguarding capacity. You will work closely with families and children to promote positive outcomes and ensure their overall wellbeing and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer practical and emotional support to families, helping them navigate challenges and access appropriate services.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to children, supporting wellbeing and/or barriers to learning.
  • Assist with safeguarding processes, ensuring the safety and welfare of children and families in line with statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Wellbeing Team and other professionals to deliver holistic support tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-agency meetings where required.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in family support, mentoring, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting families and children.
  • An organised person with logical and methodical thinking.
