About this Role
The Bishop Wand Church of England School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join our thriving English Faculty from 1st September 2026-28th February 2027, to cover a period of maternity leave. Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your journey or an experienced educator ready for a new challenge, we welcome your application.
Our English department plays a central role in our School’s ongoing success, offering a wide range of opportunities for students across Key Stages 3 to 5. At Sixth Form, we deliver A Levels in English Language & Literature, English Literature, and Media Studies, with many students progressing to higher education and careers driven by a passion for English.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking team that is deeply embedded in the life of the School.
