We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for 4 days per week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong ethos of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences across the primary phase
  • Set high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Promote good progress and outcomes for all pupils
  • Demonstrate secure subject and curriculum knowledge
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Make effective use of assessment to inform planning and next steps
  • Manage behaviour positively to create a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values
