It is an extremely exciting time for Gooseacre Primary Academy, as we continue to strengthen shared practices and collaboration, with a shared focus on improving pupil outcomes across all phases of education. Gooseacre Primary Academy was judged 'Good' in all areas in March 2025. Inspectors said that Gooseacre is a “warm and welcoming school at the heart of the community”. Inspectors also said Gooseacre is “uncompromising in its aspiration for pupils”, giving them an ambitious, broad and exciting curriculum that is “rich in vocabulary”

Behaviour around the school is “calm and orderly” and pupils enjoy working with pastoral staff when they need support or some extra help to manage their emotions

We are committed to ensuring that each child is developed to their full potential in all aspects of education, not solely just attainment.
