our pastoral team. Corby Technical School is a very fast paced environment with

We are looking for an inspirational teacher and confident leader with experience of successfully leading pastoral teams, and a proven track record of sustained impact. This role offers the prospect of developing the experience our students have at school which starts with transition into secondary school and works towards finding an ambitious career aspiration. Our new pastoral leader will be responsible for leading the work of others, co-ordinating our communications with all stakeholders, and having strategic oversight of support for students. This will include working with the Education Welfare Officer to support with improving attendance, working with the Safeguarding team to offer support students and families, and leading the student support team, in their role guiding students to manage behaviour and attitudes. The pastoral lead will also work closely with the PSHE lead, and tutor teams as these are key aspects of the holistic educational experience our students receive. We believe that all students should receive the 'right time, right place, right support,' and to do this; relationships are at the heart of pastoral team. We wish to appoint someone who is able to continue to grow the relationships with our families and wider stakeholders.
