The Head of Geography will be a successful and experienced teacher in their subject specialism, able to enthuse, motivate and inspire children, generating a love for learning. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated excellent leadership, management and communication skills in their present role High standards, strong teamwork and a capacity for hard work will have been at the core of their success. They will be a creative thinker with an ability and determination to secure high-quality outcomes for all students. They will have an up-to-date understanding of pedagogical, attendance and behavioural research and theory and will have evidence of using this to improve their own practice, and the practice of others.
