SCALE M1-M6 (OUTER LONDON ALLOWANCE)
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join our highly successful school. St Mark’s has a thriving Maths department, with excellent resources, facilities and extra-curricular provision. At GCSE almost 50% of students achieved grades 7-9 in 2025, and maths is our most popular subject at A level, with students also achieving exceptional grades.
St Mark’s was graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in September 2022, and our recent inspection highlighted the exceptional relationships between staff and students that foster our culture of exemplary behaviour and a love of learning. This positive ethos is further reflected in The Sunday Times naming St Mark’s as the 14th happiest school in the country last year.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
- The ability to teach Maths from KS3 to KS4
- High expectations and be committed to enabling all students to fulfil their potential.
- Effective communication and organisation skills.
- A willingness to develop their skills and help our team to develop even further.
What are we offering:
- Opportunities for high-quality professional development in a school committed to staff wellbeing.
- Students who have an excellent work ethic and are wonderful to teach.
- A school that is friendly and welcoming with a strong Catholic ethos.
We reserve the right to appoint at any stage in the recruitment process and we will begin shortlisting and interviewing as applications are received.
