We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, calm, and who have a genuine interest in working with students who have a variety of additional needs. It is expected that you would work closely with teaching and non-teaching staff and provide support across a range of different curriculum subjects. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work flexibly and independently are important qualities for the role.
Applicants should be able to communicate well verbally and have a good standard of numeracy and literacy (GCSE grade A – C or equivalent). If you are a graduate considering a career in teaching this could be an ideal steppingstone.
