About this Role

Due to the expansion of the school, we are looking to appoint an additional experienced School Counsellor to support our students. The successful candidate will be experienced in working therapeutically with children and young people and ideally with BACP accreditation or UKCP registration. You need to have good understanding of attachment and child development, with knowledge of mental health issues in children and young people. You will be working alongside a committed, collaborative and friendly pastoral care team, providing an essential service to pupils, and contributing to the holistic pastoral provision of the school.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 3 days (21 hours) per week (Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays)

Times:  8am- 3.30pm with a 30 minute (unpaid) lunch break

Weeks: Term time + inset training days (+ 5.6 weeks paid annual leave) 

Closing date: 6th September 2024
