This post is 20 hours per week Monday to Friday, 43 weeks per year (term time, plus non-pupil days and 4 weeks during school holidays).
A Day in the Life:
You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:
To provide supervision for the cleaning staff in school, organising schedules for cleaners.
Oversee daily cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the school are covered efficiently.
Act as a point of contact for the team, supporting their needs and ensuring they have the supplies required to do their jobs well.
Proactively patrol the building to remove litter and spot-clean graffiti, keeping the corridors welcoming for students and staff
Maintain accurate daily time records and ensure all shifts are fully staffed.
Ensure the team works safely, addressing any immediate hazards or issues that arise during the shift.

Previous experience in a cleaning role
Knowledge and understanding of COSHH and general health and safety standards
The ability to use your own initiative to resolve routine problems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
