Allestree Woodlands School is an inclusive
11-18 school with over 1,400 students overlooking the Kedleston Hall National
Trust Estate, located on the northern edge of Derby City, easily commutable
from Derby, Nottingham, and the surrounding areas.
A member of The Two Counties Trust since
September 2025, the school is proud of its warm and friendly atmosphere and its

The school offers a broad curriculum at all

Due to the promotion of the current Deputy
Headteacher for Curriculum and Teaching & Learning, we are looking to
appoint a colleague with significant leadership experience in secondary
education who can demonstrate a track record of improving Teaching and Learning
across whole-school.
This role will lead the school’s continuous professional
learning, ensuring all staff are supported to develop their practice, fulfil
their professional ambitions and secure positive outcomes for both staff and
students.
