We would like to appoint an outstanding
and inspirational person as SENDCo to lead, develop and support effective
practice for students with identified barriers to their learning. As an
Associate Leader in the school you will be part of the senior leadership teams
within and across the Trust. Bushey Meads School provides education for the
full ability range of students, including 112 students with an
EHCP and 20 identified students with social communication difficulties, including
autism who access our Special Resource Provision. In this crucial leadership
position, you will use a dynamic skill set as you support the staff to ensure
learners' progress, working closely with families as we strive to ensure that
individual student needs, interests and abilities are recognised and met and
all are encouraged to be independent, resilient and able to make positive life
choices.

A professional who is confident with using data
to evaluate the impact of support and intervention needed

A successful teacher who believes in bringing
out the best in every student and who believes in the potential of all
●
Someone with excellent numeracy and
communication skills both written and oral
●
An individual who has worked in a SEND environment
within a secondary school is essential
●
A qualified SENDCo who is knowledgeable with the
legal requirements of SEND
