Welcome from the Executive Principal
In line with our school motto Aspire to Achieve and coupled with our growth mindset culture and strong ethos, firmly underpinned by our 3Rs of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships and epitomised in our mantra ‘Our School has a Mind to Be Kind,’ we are hugely ambitious for all our students.

On a daily basis all stakeholders strive to live out our strategic commitment, purpose and intent; ‘We are committed to ensuring that all students enjoy reaching their full potential, becoming lifelong learners and positively contributing to society’ and frequently refer to our three core values of Belief, Motivation and Success.

As a school we are on an exciting journey; rated by Ofsted as a very good school in November 2019 with two outstanding judgements for Personal Development and Sixth Form Provision, we have continued with our uncompromising spirit of striving to improve in all areas – currently ‘Embedding Greatness’  in our new School Improvement Plan (see SIP 2020 – 2023) and having self-evaluated ourselves as a strong learning community on the cusp of being a thoroughly outstanding school in all areas. We want all our students to live fulfilling lives, developing a lifelong love of learning and strong appreciation of the arts and different cultures which will enrich the whole of their lives.
