About this Role

20 hours per week

Monday-Friday 6am-8am (remaining 10 hours to be confirmed)

44 weeks per year

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to work as part of our cleaning team.  As part of the team, you will help ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the school premises, ensuring the children and staff can enjoy the learning environments. 

The successful applicants must have a general knowledge of cleaning and good communication skills.  Training in the use of equipment will be provided.   

Main areas of responsibility:

Cleaning of designated areas (classrooms, offices, receptions areas, school hall, toilets etc.) to ensure they are kept in a hygienic condition including:· 

  • Vacuuming and cleaning floors using appropriate cleaning solutions 
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and other surface
  • Cleaning walls and other paintwork, tiling and mirrors
  • Emptying and cleaning waste bins
  • Cleaning toilets, sinks and basins
