Wilmington Primary School is a one form entry school with a current pupil role of 214. Our core values are resilience, positivity, teamwork, compassion and self-belief.  We are looking to welcome a Premises Assistant who will support in the day to day operations, maintenance, and security of the school site, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors at all times. Working as part of a supportive and community-focused team, the Premises Assistant will undertake a wide range of practical duties, including basic maintenance, compliance checks, site security, and event support, contributing directly to the smooth and efficient operation of the school.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, reliable, and hands-on individual who has high standards and an understanding that the Premises Assistant role  enhances the performance of the school by ensuring that the premises are well-maintained, safe, secure, and in good repair. 

A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role.

Assessment Process

Candidates will be shortlisted in line with the essential & desirable criteria outlined in the Person Specification. Those shortlisted will be invited to attend a practical skills assessment based on key elements of the role, followed by a panel interview.
