Location: Stamford Welland Academy
Contract: Full time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £35,412 - £39,152
Weeks per year: 52
Annual Leave: 25 days plus public holidays
Working Pattern: Some shift work and occasional weekend work required
About the Role
Stamford
Welland Academy is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and highly organised Facilities
Manager to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring our school provides a
safe, welcoming, and high‑quality environment for students, staff, and
visitors.
As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and development of the school site and buildings. You will ensure that the academy remains safe, secure, compliant, and operational at all times, while leading a small site team and coordinating external contractors & community lettings & events.
This is a very exciting time to be joining Stamford Welland Academy with a proposed 3G facility being installed this year and supporting the Headteacher with increasing student facilities & buildings.
Key Responsibilities
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations,
statutory compliance, and risk management.

Practical, hands‑on, and confident supervising maintenance
tasks.
·
Able to lead a team and build positive relationships with
staff, students, and contractors.
·
Calm, reliable, and able to prioritise in a busy
environment.
